When You Got It, You Got It!
Those were the words uttered by Simon Cowell Tuesday night on “American Idol” when he was giving his praise to male contestant David Archuleta. I couldn’t agree more. I have been an Idol fan since its inception into mainstream American reality television in 2002. I have not always agreed with who won, but it seems I always have a favorite or two.
This season however, one person stands out clearly as a frontrunner and he is my favorite. Yes, believe it or not, as flamingly gay as Danny Noriega is, my votes this year are dedicated to one – well OK, two, guys!! David Archuleta has more charisma and charm than one person should be allowed and he has a voice unlike anything I’ve ever seen in a 17 year old guy. He is definitely a force to be reckoned with this season. The other guy I like – simply because he’s hot and has a tantalizing accent and is a kickass singer is Michael Johns – the aussie. WOOF!!!! Mega woofage!
In any event, if you missed it (and shame on you if you did), here is David’s performance from a couple of nights ago. Tonight we will learn who’s going home first – 2 guys and 2 girls will say goodbye tonight. I know this star in the making will NOT be one of them. Enjoy. Tomorrow is Friday, bishes! Time to party!! Woot, woot!!
