Completely Clueless…
OK, so let me get this right…
Liberals are ruining this country? Hmmm. OK. Really? Interesting. I’m thinking back to the late 90’s when life was good and it was just before the world went to hell in a handbasket thanks to the republicunt conservatives who voted Bush into the office of the president. Oh wait, that’s right. He wasn’t elected the first time around…he was “appointed” to the presidency by the U.S. Supreme Court. It was under his watch that we were attacked on 9/11/2001, that we have entered a recession we might never recover from, that we have wasted half a trillion dollars on a so-called “war on terror,” that we have lost countless military men and women as a result of said war (and continue to lose more every day), that we are paying out our asses for something as simple as fucking gasoline, that the rest of the world thinks the U.S. is a joke, and that the best the conservatives can offer for Bush’s predecessor is a jurassic fleshbag named John McCain. But it’s the liberals who are ruining this country. OK. Sure it is.
Seems to me that the last time we had a liberal president in the White House we had a budget surplus, we didn’t have people attacking us, we weren’t at war with anyone, everyone who wanted a job had one, gas was affordable, and other countries around the world looked at the U.S. with respect and admiration. We were still considered by many to be the “land of opportunity.” But oh yeah…there was that one thing. What was it? Umm…oh yeah. It involved the president, an intern and a blow job. And he lied about it. But whose life did that really affect? It had no impact on the fiscal budget for the U.S., it had no impact on jobs, it had no impact on the price of a gallon of gas, it didn’t ignite war, and it really didn’t influence how the rest of the world viewed us. Everyone was pretty much like “oh well…so what?! who gives a shit?!”
But some people are completely clueless, like this guy who walked into a Unitarian Universalist Church in Tennessee recently and opened fire on innocent victims because in his words “all liberals should be killed because they’re ruining the nation.” He also blames Democrats for the country’s decline. OK dimwitted fuckwad – please explain this to me like I’m four years old because all of the evidence fully contradicts what you are saying. It’s conservatives who are responsible for ruining this country economically, it’s conservatives who started this war, it’s conservatives who have been responsible for crippling this country’s job market and housing market and who continue to reward the rich and neglect the poor. It’s conservative actions that caused the demise of Michigan’s livelihood – the big three automakers, all of whom have seen record cuts in jobs, manufacturing and profits, all a direct result of the war and its financial toll on this country. So please explain to me where liberals had any hand in this whatsoever. It was only recently that the republicunts lost their control of congress and there was more of a liberal majority. So please get your facts straight before you open your piehole publicly displaying your outright stupidity and ignorance of the issues.
The fact that you can’t get a job is no one’s fault but your own. No liberal is out there personally making it his or her mission to keep you unemployed. Your situation is that of your own making. But then you won’t really have to worry about it anymore because the act of murder carries with it some pretty steep consequences. You’ll have plenty of time to contemplate what you did and the blatant insanity you showed the world by your actions. That is, of course, if you’re not fried or lethally injected with something. If it were up to the liberals, you would likely not be killed. But those conservatives you supposedly love and worship and adore – they’ll see to it that you are swiftly made an example of by giving you the death penalty. They’re very supportive of it. But hey, you already knew that.
I think the part of this that has me most disturbed is that this case is now being investigated as a hate crime. The Unitarian Universalist Church is known for being very open minded and welcoming, especially to the gay and lesbian community. This particular church recently added a sign welcoming gays and lesbians to its congregation. While I applaud their efforts, I am sorry that they had to deal with this man’s violent outburst using them as a scapegoat to vent his frustrations with all liberals in this country. In an affidavit, it was quoted “because he could not get to the leaders of the liberal movement…he would then target those that had voted them into office.” You want to get mad at someone asshole? Take a look in your fucking mirror then. I am sick and tired of idiots holding everyone else in the world accountable for their problems. It’s time to take responsibility for yourself and your actions. If your life sucks, you’ve got no one to blame but yourself…clue in dumbass.
I could go on a tirade much longer, but I won’t. Suffice it to say I’m more than a bit miffed. More importantly, my heart aches for the people in Tennessee at this church. And more importantly than that, I am sick to death of living in a country that allows violence like this to continue with no consequence for those who commit these crimes. Conservatives have always catered to the religious fundamentalist freaks who would just as soon see every gay and lesbian in the world murdered for his or her sexuality. And it is for that reason that hate crimes are still not punishable like other crimes. And if this is treated as a hate crime, this waste of human DNA will likely walk with no punishment of any kind. Either that or some idiot lawyer will step up to defend the son of a bitch and say he was “insane” at the time he committed the crime and was therefore not responsible for his actions. In any event, nothing surprises me anymore…and I’m sure this won’t either.
